OSLA (Girls HS)
Worthington High School (now Thomas Worthington HS) fielded the state's first girls lacrosse team in 1974. Nine years later, Upper Arlington HS became the fourth team and in 1988, Columbus School for Girls was the seventh.
The swell of popularity in Ohio girls lacrosse began in 1992 and the Ohio Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (OSLA) was born and hosted the first state-wide tournament in 2000.
