Rules & Regulations
The Ohio Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (OSLA) was the governing body for high school girls lacrosse throughout the state of Ohio until the start of the 2016-17 school year. Effective with the start of 2016-17 school year, the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is sponsoring both boys and girls interscholastic lacrosse. NFHS/US LAX
OSLA, and now the OHSAA> follows the US Lacrosse Women’s Rule Book – Official Rules for Girl’s and Women’s Lacrosse which is endorsed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Exceptions, if any, to these rules are documented in the OHSAA Girls Lacrosse Regulations.
