Ohio High School Lacrosse Association (OHSLA)

The Ohio High School Lacrosse Association (OHSLA) was the governing body for high school boys lacrosse throughout the state of Ohio until the start of the 2016-17 school year.  Effective with the start of 2016-17 school year, the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) is sponsoring both boys and girls interscholastic lacrosse.  Bylaws, regulations and all administration is being handed by the OHSAA.  Please go to their web site at www.ohssa.org for more information.

The documents listed below - Boys Lacrosse Regulations and Tournament Regulations - are posted for information only.  These documents are no longer valid.  They will not be update and have been replaced by the OHSAA Boys Lacrosse Regulations and Tournament Regulations (when published).

The OHSAA governs a number of sports in the state of Ohio,  Effective with the start of the 2016-17 school year, boys and girls lacrosse becomes sponsored/recognized sport under Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA)

NFHS/US Lax

The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) authors rules for high school boys’ lacrosse, and those rules govern youth boys’ lacrosse except where US Lacrosse has amended otherwise. 

OHSLA, and now the OHSAA, follows NFHS rules for high school boys' lacrosse.  To obtain a copy of those rules, you can go to US Lacrosse.
